Race Against Time

A mere 12 days to dismantle 1,600 old fixtures and install 1,150 new ones — such was the mandate for this exceptionally demanding project.

The Prologis DC4 logistics center in Senec is utilized by DHL and Tesco. Operations run 24 hours a day, with the exception of weekends. We were permitted a maximum of one hour per 110-meter rack aisle. Consequently, we scheduled the bulk of the work for the weekends. During weekdays, work proceeded in a strict hourly rhythm, adapting unreservedly to the busy operational conditions.

We installed energy-efficient industrial LED fixtures, achieving the declared energy savings. In the rack aisles, fixtures with a special double-beam characteristic were installed, ensuring excellent illumination of both the aisle floors and the goods on the shelves.
