Hyundai in Nošovice runs on doublepower!!

This year we completely reconstructed the lighting system on a manufacturing floor of a gearbox plant for the Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Czech Company. The doublepower!! system succeeded in reducing the installed input power and saving approx. 60% of energy even though the lighting system we replaced consisted of fluorescent luminaires, which are more modern and considerably more efficient than classical industrial discharge tubes.

Together with the manufacturing floors of the pressing and painting shops, the welding plant, the final assembly line and VPC, where we have already reconstructed the lighting systems in previous years, almost all Hyundai premises in Nošovice are fitted with the doublepower!! luminaires. The electric power saved when operating all the installed lighting systems means a reduction in CO₂ emissions by approximately 14 thousand tons every year. On average, that represents 116 million km driven in a passenger car.
